So my Bronco II has really been running poorly lately and been getting progressively worse. It's gotten to the point where I have to let it sit and run and get warm in the mornings before I can even drive it. Even when I do let it warm up it has a rolling and intermittent low power issue.
I did all the usual, diag, checked fuel pressures, checked spark, etc. Fuel pressure was running a hair on the low side and bled off really fast, so I was gearing up to replace the whole fuel system thinking it was a pressure and priming issue.
Then I decided to do a tune up first. Frankly I find it atrocious that I have owned it for a year and haven't done the plugs and wires yet anyway. Did bank 2 yesterday and didn't see anything super disturbing aside from the Autolite double platinum plugs.
Did bank 1 today (I've been fighting with some unplesant weather) and found this in cylinder 1:
(Yes, that is Harry Kim, no I didn't find him in cylinder 1)
Runs like a dream immediately after sitting for about 36 hours now.
