Ok, own a 90 b2. While hunting engaged 4wd. Tried to shift out and noticed that the 4x4 light stays on and the four low flashes. This is push button shift, and manual locking hubs. Unhooked battery hoping to "reboot" with no luck. I have not raised and check if 4wd is engaged yet. Someone have a suggestion?
The truck is sweet, 6" lift w 35 super swampers. Professional paint, strictly a dog hunting, swamp loving b... Need help now:shok:

I recall the Low Range light flashing usually means the system is waiting for you to shift the transmission into Neutral (or push the clutch in) before it's able to complete the shift into or out of low range. Also it won't shift if your speed is over 3 MPH.

If you are stopped and it actually is in Neutral (or clutch depressed) and the light's still flashing, then you might have a bad range selector switch or clutch pedal switch.

It's also possible the electric-shift transfercase (shift motor) has a malfunction also, however I would check the above first.

Hope that helps
