Thinking of putting the overhead console with the compass and outside temp in my bronco. Wiring doesn't seem to bad.

What do y'all think

I think the shape of the roof is the biggest problem you will run into. Other than that, should be a cake walk.

And awesome, should be awesome.

I put the Exploder overhead console in my 99 Ranger. Perfect fit. I also made sure I got the complete wire harness with it. Easy install. The Expedition overhead console might not align with the roof lines of the Bronco or the Ranger. I looked at one three weeks ago at a buddies shop and it was does not have a really flat mounting area for the roof line as the Exploder overhead console does.

That thing just looks way too huge for a small truck!! It mounted better than I though it would.

woo-wo it still in the expedition just took before pictures before i try it. it should fit beautifully with a little trimming, the light at the back should end up where the old light is, thus mean this will run the length of the first seats in my truck. im thinking of painting it black since my visors are black.

make sure to post pics..
I'm intrigued.. those rear climate control knobs would be the ideal spot for aux lighting and amp switches....

Slam a few rheostats in there, have dimmer switches for your lights! lol

lol.. I was thinking Rock Lights, Front aux lighting, rear aux lighting, and who knows what else?! lol

I need to switch my amp power wire to the remote wire of my radio

I had to look again and yes!!! I saw the grab rails and said...'Oh!! That is still in the expedition'!!! Lol. I was just looking at the roof line to see how that mounted flush or not. If you get it to mount that flush it will be fine. Just a bit huge for me but you have full back seats in the Bronco so that length will be fine. Not too sure on a Ranger however. I like my Exploder overhead console since it is smaller but looks great.

Im thnking gauges. Or switchs for roof light in the future.
