The curse still has ahold of my B2

changed:
ECM
TFI
IAC
MAP
Distributor and cap
Fuel pumps (both)
Fuel Filter
Inertia Switch

but still nothing. When cold it will start up for about 30 seconds then die pretty soft. Sounds like its taking alot of air when it dies too. After the first start though it progressively dies faster and eventually it will not start at all. Anyone any ideas?

How many pounds of pressure is there on the fuel rail? Does it hold steady during the initial start up and idle?

Did you double check timing?

Whats the conditon of the exhuast system?

Have you checked for any fault codes? Check your main wiring harness, two junction connections are right in the area of the air intake plenum and the fuel lines.I unravel mine and found a bad connection on curcuit 11 which is the TFI to coil,IDM resister, and tach, the wire color is dark green and yellow. Also check the air charge sensor, mine was out of spec. Also check the 5 or so connections on the drivers side fender apron.I also had some bad connections there. Also check the coolant temp sensor.

I will check the wires you mentioned above and post an update next week. Thanks for the replies

yes checked all my grounds and everything checks out. Does anyone know anything about the ecc tester? Will that fine any problem in my wiring harness? I am going to open up the fuel canister filter to check out that tomorrow hopefully that is the issue. I have 2 bronco ii's and when this one primes it doesn't sound like my other one that runs smooth. I hope its the back canister.

IAC?
Mine was making a loud sucking sound when it would die. Cleaned the IAC, quit dieing.
