B-II tire carrier to a Ranger

I did it a few years ago when I still had a bed. Turned out pretty good and supported a 35" spare just fine. I have pics somewhere on my cardomain page.

I checked out those pics... its tough to see the mounted side of the B-II swing away tire carrie... where did it end up hookin up at?

i used a carrier from a s10 blazer. it worked pretty nice. bed mount points fit right around the taillamp. the latch bolts right to the tailgate. i can take pics it u want.

ok pics as promised. the blazer/s10 tire mount i used i got free!. it was off a 1994 blazer. so thats why i decided to use it. it actually bolted up pretty flush with the bedside. as see from the pics it has saved the rh taillamp a few times from trees. i used the stock reinforcement for the bedside, and i made one for the tailgate side. i hope these help.

ooh and one more thing i forgot was that the bolt pattern will need redrilled to match the ranger 5x4.5

ya know something, that'd be pretty easy to build, IMO. but just add that to the list with bumpers haha

i just reused the factory blazer reinf. the tailgate i added some plate steel and welded to the tailgate supports. easy cheap effective

I like that! "easy, cheap, effective", and ingenious. Good job.
