What year Eplorer will be a good "organ donor " for Dana 35 and Ford 8.8? I believe it would be 90' - 95'. I am looking for limited slips.

The '91-'94 was the only Explorers that had the TTB front suspension. The Explorer was first produced in '91.

If you want something that doesn't require any modifications for rear brakes, then use the '91-'94 rear 8.8 axle. It has drum brakes and all your lines will bolt up to it without modification; including the parking brake cable.

The best Dana 35 TTB's were in the '95-'97 Rangers. They ran a dual piston brake caliper setup instead of the single piston caliper setup like on all the Dana 28's and the early model Dana 35's ('90-'94). They also had more welds on the beams making them stronger.
