Hello All,
I recently pulled the bed off of my Ranger to install a new fuel pump. While doing this I decided to change the gear oil...Very easy with the bed removed. After the oil change I wondered what axle I have. I read the "code" info on the drivers door & It gives the axle as #92. I consulted my Haynes Manual and found no axle code info. I then pull out the Owners Manual & the codes run up to a # 91...Which is a convential 3.27. There is no code # 92 in my manual. I have a 1993 2WD 4.0 Auto, Supercab.
I did write down the Tag numbers on the differential while changing the oil and it reads...S352A 308 88 3H25. I am assuming with this code I have a 8.8in 3.08 gear ratio? Can anyone confirm my assumption especially since my code on the door is not listed in the Owners Manual?
Thanks In Advance
