comming from some where inside this truck, it has no seats no carpet, just bare bones... WHERE IS IT COMMING FROM!?!?!

does anyone have any ideas of how to get rid of it, other then sending it to the scrapper or the people who clean hursts?

are you sure your not smelling yourself?:icon_rofl:

just kidding, maybe something died in it. try checking like vents and stuff or anywhere a small rodent could have gotten stuck

haha no, deffantly sure it wasnt me i smell like i feasted on a dead horse after i work on cars., i just finished putting the trans and stuffand got it moving like yesterday . took a shower earler and went out to sttart the truck, and it smelled like rotton milk or something of the likes. just awefullllll.

Ok more serious if you have the seats and everything out and you have made sure nothin dead is in the truck take some vinegar and put it in the middle of your truck in a bowl or cup and let it set for a day or 2 my mom does this when she burns stuff in the house to clear the stench up quick and it never returns (or a least till she burns something else)

take apart ur dash, its single cab rite?

Mold or something dead in the HVAC ducts, something dead underneath the truck or in the engine compartment, in the air filter box...

yeah i mean your options are pretty limited if there is no seat.

check under carpet, or the carpet itself
carpet pad
something under your horn maybe? not sure anything could fit ha.
in your dash is the most likely suspect
HVAC vents very likely also
air filter, possibly
firewall, tucked up behind trim pieces, check doors (behind door panels and also in the spot where the window rolls down)

check the undercarriage, when i worked at jiffy lube a guy came in with half decomposed deer jammed under the frame rails, if the air hadnt been so clogged with exhaust fumes i may have puked

i found a ded mouse in my air cleaner box once o_O.

list of things i found in my air cleaner box
1. babe ruth candy bar wrapper
2. feathers
3. what looked like a chunk of hair(fake)
4. a condom wrapper
5. a reciept from burgerking

i need to check more often...

Damn! It's a good thing you have an air filter. Can you imagine all that stuff getting into your engine? :icon_twisted:

twice i have found dead mice in washer reservoir.

i vote something dead in the HVAC ducts... i've had to take apart a whole honda dash to find a family of chipmunks... ALIVE!! lolz

Some asshat crack an egg in your cowl?

i you want to get rid of the smell buy a bag of charcoal open one end of it up and leave it it your truck the charcoal will absorb the smell but that doesn't solve the source of it problem
