Awaiting my new system!

I just ordered a new system for my new truck. I decided to get some good stuff for my new truck, i decided to look for some better stuff seeing as this truck isn't gonna be seeing mud all over it and stuff.

Here is the head unit.

And i only got a pair of speakers till next pay check.

Is there anything i should look out for? Anything i should add like dynamat or an amp or something?

The HU will give you a bit of a power boost and the sound quality of your speakers will be better with it. I would wait until you have all 4 speakers installed to decide whether or not you need an amp. If you're happy with the sound quality and volume you might not need one.
Anywhere and everywhere you can slap some Dynamat is a good thing....

My sister has that one in her mustang. Just installed it 3 days ago. I bought the pioneer DEH-P310UB premiere. These are very good units. I hope you didn't buy them from the pioneer website. I'd add an amp if your planning on putting subs. This head unit sounds loud even without an amp. Good Luck!

And no i didn't get it direct, they always rip you off. I got it from crutchfield cause they give me everything else i need free and cheaper.

I don't plan on putting in a sub, i am hoping that with the speakers i am getting i will only need them. I am past my annoy everyone stage, i can't stand my friends cars with them blasting the subs everywhere.

Congrats on your new system. You're gonna love it! I have the DEH-P510UB with TS-D6802R speakers in the back and TS-A6872R speakers in the front. I installed them with Boom Mat foam baffles and they have a nice tight bass with clear highs and mids. It's all I need for right now.

Yeah no kidding, the eject button is being a b***h on my factory radio, so now i will be able to get my CD's back and have the ability to plug in my ipod and stuff!
