Hey all.
I have have been thinking after reading a lot here about swapping out my PVH hubs on my 1999 Ranger with the aftermarket versions from AVM/Rugged Ridge.

My question is, has anyone purchased them from a Canadian dealer? I am hoping to find someone in Ontario that might have them?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the help. I did find a local company in Toronto that will bring them in next day delivery. They are called Just Jeeps.

:)

There are a LOT of complaints about them breaking easy since they have plastic parts, you might want to research the other options given in the threads about them in the appropriate forums for this. If you do buy them, you might want to buy a spare or two since you can't just run to the local parts store for them.

I am not a real off road type guy. My truck will be lucky to ever see something muddy... lol.. It's pretty much a utility truck/back up vehicle and for winter driving. I probably won't put more than 5000 km a year on it, so I'm not to worried about breaking anything. I only paid $2000 for the truck and am not going to put a pile of money into it for conversions. This seems like the most economical way for me to fix things up and get me going for what I need.

Thanks for the advice though. It is appreciated.

Well, seems the majority of the complaints are that they break when not engaged and the truck is in 2wd due to vibrations going down the road. The plastic clips that hold it on break, and you lose your hub on the road never to be found again. You really cannot complain if you grenade something when wheeling!

I am curious though, what sort of abuse they may have taken prior to their demise? Hmmmm We shall see... Like I always say.. If you're not living on the edge, you are taking up to much space :)

I'm up in Yukon and I got mine from Baseline4x4. The were awesome to deal with. It was a while ago by I was emailing a guy named Jarod, he really helped me out. I couldn't order to Canada online so I had to phone them. That was the most difficult part.

If you need them again, try Just Jeeps in Toronto. They have a web site as well. That is where I got mine. They were nice guys to deal with and I had them in 24 hours.
