AVM hubs

I put on the AVM hubs on my 98 ranger to replace the vacuum hubs, everything is OK. Is there a way to swap over to a locking hub like I had on my 87 ranger 4x4.

hey my name is taylor coutee form louisiana an tis is my first ranger that i've owned really it's my first truck i was wonderin if the avm/rugged ridge hubs are good i've read all the reveiws but it's half and half i would just like to know cause my oem hubs are trashed well they won;t lock in so please help any suggestion is appriciated thanks

Not sure what you're talking about. The AVM hubs ARE locking hubs, just like the ones on an 87 Ranger.

i wannted to know if the hold up good i hunt alot in some bad places an i need 4 wheel drive i need something that won't fail when i need them do you think they would hold up

My AVM hubs have been great so far, just looking for something with more steel in them, they seem a little filmsy to me.

Nope they are the only thing for the 98-00 rangers as far as hubs are concerned, they are less flimsy then the vacuum hubs. Plus all they have to do is put a gear between the hub and cv axle... nothing major. I just put mine on an love them even though i haven't used 4x4. If you want stronger though I suggest going with the explorer live axle setup.
