Just joined site...now for my first dumb question! I own a 1999 b4000 mazda. Yes I am having trouble with those rotten vacuum hubs. I followed the advice from another post on here and made them "full time" hubs by taking out the small metal clip. That was EASY!! After doing more research, I became aware of AVG locking hubs! My question is this...ARE they available for this year/model truck. I am getting conflicting reports. Thanks for the help!

The Mazda B4000 is the same (mechanically) as a 4 liter ranger for the same year. Same frame, engine, and electrical, different body panels and interior trim. The hubs should work and fit correctly on your rig.

Should be, if you look in the tech library you should find a link. By the way its AVM hubs, so that might be part of the confusion.

OOOPS! I meant AVM. Thanks guys!

I have replaced my vacuum hubs with the AVM hubs before winter, and if they are locked and I put it in 4x4, I know that I have 4x4, best move I've done on my 98 b4000.
