AVG calling TRS a virus

My AVG virus protection is calling TRS a virus or it contains links to virus. The past couple of days it will go to a red screen. Also says it has spyware. Anybody else getting these messages?

I don't get it. A web site itself cannot be a virus. I had AVG (version 7 IIRC) installed on another computer once and it would occasionally accuse certain things as threats when they really were not. I am running Norton Internet Security on my netbook (yeah I know, please don't flame me for it) and everything checks out fine. I don''t see how anything TRS related could be causing an issue....

Sounds like you have spyware or malware on your machine causing it to say that.

What browser are you using? It sounds like it has been hijacked. Go here, http://www.osiris-spywareguide.com/ follow the directions.

I have had spyware or malware before on the computer that came from one of TRS sponsors. Took a few days to get rid of it. I have run all virus scans and spyware scans today and nothing came up. The original message said potential virus or spyware associated with the TRS site. If it pops up again I will try to take a shot of it and post here.
