just bought a 25 gal steel gas tank for the bed of my ranger. anyone done this that might have some tips, pointers, ideas, etc. in installing it? planning on using a manual selector valve as i'm used to that from driving old Scouts in the past. it will go against the back of the bed closest to the cab. about 47"x18"x7" so i'm thinking is will be just about right. i plan on plumbing the fill line through the fiberglass topper as i don't want to cut into the bed on the side. lines will go out the bottom in a hole no one will see. any thoughts?

On a Carbureted engine with a mechanical fuel pump
additional tanks in the system isn't rocket science.

when you get into additional fuel tanks on an EFI truck....
THAT is another nightmare altogether.
