Has anyone used one? What is your opinion on them? I'm looking at the 15850P kit.

I used one bought from Advance Auto parts in a roller 302. No problems with that one. But I recently acquired a 92 F150 with a disassembled roller 302 in which the PO had bought a crank kit for. The thrust bearing was stamped .010 under, but was more like .030 as the crank would not turn once you bolted that main cap down. The journal measurements were all over the place too by a thousandth or two. I don't know where he bought the kit though. I ended up having to replace the thrust bearing with another.

Hmm I'm wondering if it would be worth it? This is what my #5 con rod bearing looks like. My rebuilt block started knocking.

Looks like the clearances were too tight, or it spun that one bearing in the rod. Are the tabs bent flush with the bearing shell ?

They didn't spin I checked the tab. I wish that's what it was!
