Auto tranny swap

any quick shouts about pulling an auto tranny in a 94 b3000,dont have a book ,would like to get it out tonight.do i have to drop the exhaust?any particularly hard bell houseing bolts? thanks

the top bell housing bolts are always difficult, i remove the crossmember and lower the transmission down to gain access.

you'll have to unbolt the torque converter from the flywheel BEFORE you remove the transmission. there is an access cover

you do have to drop your exhaust Y-pipe

yes. i've heard of ways around it, but im pretty sure the y-pipe needs to come off
