Auto to manual swap

Ok update on the issue I was having. Swap is done truck is running. The issue was the 05 engine harness. After swapping back to my original engine harness the truck started just fine, don’t even need the clutch switch which I find odd but it works just fine with out it. I ended up finding a good harness from an 02 manual 3.0 truck at LKQ and pulled it and used it truck starts just fine.
Now I’m having an issue with the way it runs, it starts idles a bit high at about 1500 rpm, idle will fluctuate like it’s a bad iac valve, has a strange roaring sound coming from the air box that will go away when I unplug the iac valve. Then it will idle at about 900rpm like normal for a little bit then just shut off.

How many times have you tried it? Sometimes the computer has to re-learn the idle strategy with the IAC. Warm it up, cut it off and run it again, cut it off, run it again, see if it can control it. If you pull the codes it should try and control the idle, and if it can't do it properly it will give out a code for it.

I thought it may have to go through a relearn process. I did it a few times and it did get a little better every time. It’s not throwing any codes at the moment. I haven’t messed with it in a few days cause of my work schedule but I plan on trying it today after work. Thanks
