im wanting swap the auto box to a manual on a 4.0sohc, i did buy a 2.9 flywheel out of a granada but its only a stud pattern, its hard to get parts here in uk to do this so im going have to be creative and find something to fit, does anyone know what vehicles came with a manual flywheel that will fit the 8 holed crank

Didn't the mustang get the SOHC, would that have a different flywheel bolt pattern or tooth count?

Mustang did too, the crank bolt pattern would be the same, not sure about the tooth count on the ring gear though.

The mustang 4.0l has the same 8 bolt crank, but the flywheel is WAY different. Stick with a RBV flywheel.
