hey guys, my d35 has auto hubs, but currently i got manual tcase and hubs. so will the auto hubs work for now until i get the money for manuals or do they have to be hooked up. thanks

there's nothing wrong with auto hubs and a manual transfer case, just don't engage the case while in motion.

Yes you can use the auto hubs with the manual case. w/o problem.

Auto hubs (true auto hubs, not the PVH style) have nothing to do with the t-case buttons.

There is a spring loaded clip in there similar to the one engaged by the knob on the manual hubs. It locks in when the front axle shafts start rotating and then unlock again when the wheels move backward and the axle shafts stay stationary (2-hi in reverse).

If you don't have the pulse vacuum hubs (which I doubt a d-35 has) you don't need to push any buttons or anything for you auto hubs to work. As long as the t-case is engaged they will lock in if they aren't broken.

ok thanks guys i was just wondering if the 4x4 buttons on the electric ones also locked in hubs while locking in the tcase.
thanks
