Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the site so please forgive the simple question. I have an 88 bronco II with an automatic. It has the lame push button auto 4 wheeldrive with the auto locking hubs. When I push the button nothing happens, it doesn't light up or make a noise. Is there a fuse or relay or maybe a control box somewhere that could be causing the problem? I checked all the fuses in the fuse box and they were all fine. I know the shift motor on the t case is most likely the problem, is there a way to fix that without buying a new one? And if it is the shift motor, would that cause the 4x4 indicator light not to work?

Any help you guys can offer would be awsome

Thanks
Jason

If it's not even clicking, I would check the module first and switch, there is a thread on here somewhere showing the trouble shooting steps.. lemme see if I can find it
