This orignal post needs to be looked at more for everyone jumping with what ends up being over their heads. No research, no clue, no idea People have got to start learning the difference in doing a swap in a '98' and newer Ranger and the earlier ones, big difference in what you can and can not do.

Mac........exactly......I had to put somee effort into it, but I read nearly every post on a V-8 engine swap & had to take notes because there was so much information in my swap search!!

Everybody doing a first time engine swap oughta have to take a test to make sure they at least read the Tech Library before they can ask questions in a forum......seriously....(that would have stopped me from asking half a dozen ignorant questions in my first Newbie Week!)
