I had a heater core go bad this weekend and don't know how the transmission shifter disconnects from the shift cable. I need to get it disconnected so I can pull the steering column out. I know sombody has run into this and has the answer. This is a 96 4x4 SC 4.0 with an automatic. There has to be a special place in hell for whoever designed this truck!!!
