04 ranger, 3.0 143000 mi.
Scan, cyl 6 misfire, new coil pack...same,.#6 wire, replace, same.
No load, 3000 - 3100 rpm seems to limit out, wont rev any higher, lil rough idle,
Ideas guys ???

Bad fuel injector will also give a misfire code.

what transmission do you have?
automatics are not allowed to rev way up in park or neutral.

2nd the compression test. it will verify the mechanical condition of the engine.

New issue, replaced inj #6 all good, yesterday, light went, scan, lean bank 1
This means what and where ???
