Anybody have any experience with this company's Underdrive crank pulley?

I'm looking at getting one for a 99Mazda B3000, with a 3.0 engine.

There are better places to spend money on a 3.0.

That's a lot of money for them. Even a lot of the Mustang guys just go with AC/smog eliminator kits to get rid of the drag.

Aren't the 3.0's pretty sensitive to heat? That pulley will turn all of your accessories 20% slower. That includes your water pump.

I have the BBK pulleys on mine. They do free up some hp, but I have issues with it getting hot in traffic. So, it is a give and take deal. I am strongly considering changing back. I also had issues with it charging at idle until I put a 130 amp alternator on it.

Port, polish, headers.

OK thanks for your input, thats why I ask questions.

I have one on my old truck and didn't notice any HP gains or heating/charging issues so I left it off of my current truck. I stare at it from time to time and I'm always glad I didn't swap it over, because it adds another level of annoyance when it comes time to put on a new belt.

I agree that it's a lot of money for an underdrive pulley. (I paid less for 3 pullies and a belt from a different seller, all new). I do think they're a nice quick bolt on upgrade though. I noticed a nice difference from stock when I put mine on with an e-fan.
Porting and polishing is great, but requires lots of down time and work, or you have to pay somebody several hundred dollars to do it for you.
Both mods have their place, but are different levels of difficulty, cost and time invested.

Pulley arrived today and I put it on, right away I notice the fan is quieter, the truck has more get up and go.
Picture of the stock one I took off and the new under-drive one I put on with the proper size belt.
