Army ranger

It is pretty soft in the front end with the jeep coils and running the lighter valved bilsteins. The sway bar is removed. If i street drive it more i will add the sway bar with quick disconnects.

k thanks i have skyjacker ttb 138 coils on my extended cab mazda but they don't seem to flex much at all and that's with james duff radius arms

Im not familiar with those, mine are the skyjacker jc60f jeep springs. Im going to strap mine at about 14-16" of travel.

they are 6in lift coils for a extended cab ranger so not so much flex in them

Is your sway bar still connected? That could free up some flex with the springs you have?

naw it is off one of the first things to go springs are just very stiff

Yeah i would say your right, any spring ment for ttb is stiff.

Looks like a great build. Your other project, is it comet caliente? It looks like that from the body lines but has a ranchero type box? Early/mid 60's? I have a buddy that had one similar [years ago tho so my memory may be playing tricks].

It is a 1964 ranchero. I have took every panel back to bare steel and did all bodywork. Also replacing both bedsides.

Both builds look really good!

I would like to see some description of what you do.... It looks like you have a great grasp of welding and sheet-metal work. If you find the time to explain, what you are doing and why and how.

Not only will it help us who are following your build, it will help you when you get a little older and the memory isn't quite so good. I'm surprised every time I look at my build thread and see how much I've accomplished, even tho it seems like not much has been done.... That only works when you keep up on the thread.

Thank you, i will do a better job explaining what im doing. I have a few updates. I removed my front fenders to trim then. I just ran a line of tape where i wanted to trim. I used a die grinder with a thin wheel. I also cut my inner fender and screwed it to my inner structure. Also a wheeling pic. Thanks.

I picked up a full size matching spare, just have to figure out how i am going to mount it in the bed. The room in the bed is decreasing in size........

Hopefully the video will show up. This happened at the local off road park. I was on a very steep climb, video does no justice. I got my two rear tires over the ledge and about had the front where i wanted until the hubs gave way.
