Hi All,
I'm looking for the size of the bolt that holds the armrest to the driver's seat in a 1994 regular cab, 2.3L ford ranger. I'd appreciate any help with this. I've search all over the internet and found zilch that's helpful. I tend to find two things:
1) It's a T50 torx bolt. Well that's what the pattern on the head is, but not the actual bolt. I did look up what size T50 bolts usually are and found 7/16" but that's way too small.
2) Likewise, I've found that's it's 8mm head and 6-7 mm bolt diameter. No dice. Bought some M8 bolts and they're way too small.
3) I have the factory service manual. It does not show the bolt size.
Not wanting to throw more money at guessing the bolt size, does anyone here know what size the bolt is?
It's got to be M10+ or something large like 7/8".
SOLUTION: So, I was wrong. It was a 7/16" 14 tpi bolt. I used 1.5 inch bolt and it seemed to work fine.
