Yup.

Oh yeah...

Ive got a 1993 3.0 that I'll be shoving my D44 and Ford 9 rear in. I'll be extending the arms with DOM and RS heims. When I get around to it, I'll be doing rear discs with parking or a linelock (prolly ball valve). Along with EB 3.5" coils in front and most likely 4.88s. So far I have a mind to have a separate spool to swap in for the rear when I go on trips and lunchboxing the front at all times.

I'll be running DDing either 35s or just snagging some 33 A\Ts for onroad stuff with the 35s for the fun stuff.

I thought so too, but the shipping was around 140. Pretty good when he was selling both axles for $250. Unfortunately no pick and pulls here have anything older than maybe the early 80s. Cheapest I could find on CL for either axle by itself was around 400, so both together for that is perfectly fine

Update: Moving to a new apartment next month with an attached garage and stained concrete floors! It even has a small driveway! I'll be running a 220v extension cord from the utility room to the garage for the welder.

I hope so! My girlfriend really isn't too thrilled about the idea of me undertaking a project this large, but she wasn't around for eight of my motorcycles and a couple of cars.

I thought it was funny; we were walking back to my truck while leaving a store and she said "I have to admit, your truck would look a lot better with some sort of a lift or bigger tires..."

HA!

We finally moved into the new place with the attached garage! Hooray!

Since I last posted I've collected:
C-caps from PlumCrazy
C-Bushings (I was told they were 7* but they sure as heck say 4* on them)
Upper coil buckets with coil retainers
D44 Spring perches with coil retainers
F250 shock tower mounts
63" Chevy springs (Will pick them up hopefully tomorrow)
Ruff Stuff 1.25" Heims/bungs/misalign spacers

And I'll be making a trip probably to San Antonio tomorrow. I may have found some 3.5" EB coils and some large crappy rolling rubber.

I'll probably be using the stock D44 steering and reinforcing it with DOM, unsure though. I think the stock steering will hold up pretty well for a time, since my wheeling will be hella light.

As for the drop pit, the 3.5" EB coils will net around 6" lift, should I look at the 5.5" skyjacker drop, or will a 4" from somewhere else work fine?

It's pretty tough shopping first. I have to scan threads and look to see what I need, but I don't have the luxury of having the project on blocks in the garage to take measurements.

Took a trip down to a junkyard and then on to San Antonio to pick up some stuff

I got four 32x12.5x15s with white triangular rims for rollers: $80
2x Chevy 63s: $34.50
2x 3.5" EB Coils (never installed): $60.00

Yeah, I did a lot of research on it, but I'm almost positive it won't let me pass inspection here. I'm going to stick with drums in the rear for now. I may upgrade later, but we'll see how it goes.

In TX (and just about any state for that matter) requires a separate, mechanical parking brake. So no line locks for us texans. I've toyed with designing a t-case mounted brake system but it would be all custom.
