I dont see to many, there are i think 4, was 5 lifted explorers besides mine runnin round. one burnt to the ground. and besides klitchs brothers, a few older rangers that are lifted and more newer ones with a small body lift. Around here super dutys and big dodges are seriously lifted. Like every corner you see a lifted dodge or ford, haha

There are a good number of modded Rangers around here. In my apartment complex parking lot there is a lifted (susp & body) 98-99 Ranger with AVM hubs. There is also a dropped 3rd gen. Around campus there are a couple mildly modded Rangers as well. I see a red lifted Edge with no valence in traffic a lot. Another guy has a B2 with a chopped top, and there are a few lifted Explorers as well.

A couple of people on another Ranger board I visit go to my school (UNCC), and I ended up behind a member from another state in traffic once. I immediately recognized his truck and the R-F sticker on the back window. I haven't knowingly met or seen any TRS members since I was in high school though...back when I had my red 2001.

Also, my red 2001 is running around in Charlotte somewhere. I suppose it counts as mildly modded with the wheels, exhaust, and other odds and ends. It now resides in the nice part of town though and definitely not where I live.

there is a sick 2004ish on either 35's or big 33's about 2 miles from my house... sick truck! and then there is a green 98ish one on 33's, and i see a few 1-2 generations on 31's about everyday. the best one i saw though was a generation one, on 38's? looked just like my old ranger, paint and everything, but about 4 ft higher

custom center console, bedlined up to the door handles, Honda seats, Grover airhorns-hey thats good enough for me J/K.:D

i like a good work truck,i've been trying not to lose the utility of my truck as i mod it.seems like you've done a good job of increasing the usefulness:icon_thumby:

well, it isn't lifted and such is what I meant. I like to tinker and I like to junk hunt. Lots of little things that I have either designed and made or designed and helped make. Its a roach, I can't kill the truck. It doesnt owe me a dime, I bought it for 150 bucks on december 23 2003 and it now has 277,000 on the original 2.9 I don't wheel it as much as I would like because funds are kind of tight and I don't feel like breaking stuff. It isn't pretty but it sure comes in handy when you have flat tires in the woods and no spare. I might try to design an onboard welder for it just because. even though I can't weld for crap.

Nah I definitely don't have the only one. I've got 2 friends with bagged rangers, another friend who just got done with a 351w/t5 swap, and I see a few other lifted and lowered ones around town usually.

Hell mine hasn't even seen the road in 2 years.

Besides a buddy of mine, I'm probably the only one in 100 miles lol.
About the only time either one of us ever see another modded RBV, it's a prerunner-built 2WD, never a 4x4.

When I go to my dad's place in southern Oregon though, I occasionally see a modded-up 4x4 Ranger, and once, an Explorer (usually mild builds though... 33s max and bolt-on lifts).

Well, I'm the only SAS'd one in town, thats street legal anyways. There's gettin to be quite a few rollin around on 33's now and even a few small block'd BII's.

i'de say its similar to oregon around here as far as lifted rangers.theres more jeeps and yotas but the rbv's come in a close third.plenty of prerunner style rangers around but most aren't 2wd or long travel(late model):icon_twisted: i've seen a few on 35's and some SAS rbv's.
