Are McQuay-Norris chassis parts any good?

I don't want to go with the Autozone "Durabrand"... and the Moog Ball-joint won't fit the OE control arm... It's the Explorer adjustable arm assembly and ball-joint... I don't want to replace the control arm too. The
McQuay-Norris is priced $10 more than the Durabrand and $10 less than the Moog, with a lifetime warranty.

The guy at Autozone told me all the Durabrand chassis parts are made by Moog now, but I'm not sure I believe that.

As far as i know, Mcquay-Norris is DuraBrand. Least it was when i worked there 2 years ago, and the parts still look the same to me.

They might be made by moog, much like OE parts are at times. There are only a few places that make chassis parts. They just box them differently. The problem is the QC standards applied to the run of parts. The customer sets the number of acceptable defects so you cannot determine quality based on who made the part. McQuay Norris used to be good stuff, but all parts makers have stepped down a bit. I would buy the cheaper part that has the same warranty. You will be hard pressed to notice any difference in longevity. 10 years in parts management taught me that much.

if theres any affiliation with chuck norris theres no contest.

mcquay norris are pretty decent, but like stated above go with a warranty item save your invoice for it most stores wont warranty parts without them

unless you hit chuck norris with it. but that could shatter the space time continum and cause total annihalation of your ball joint and possibly a roundhouse kick to the face.(i had to say that). go for the one with the warrenty

haha i think chucknorris might negate the roundhouse kick to the face and just go back in time to kick you in the womb.

LOL!

Well... I guess I'd better go for the warrenteed one if there's a chance Chuck Norris might come after it. Hopefully he doesn't decide roundhouse kick my tie-rods in the face while he's at it. I can't afford all this maniacal Chuck Norris breakage of my suspension components.

Thanks for the replies... I know the Durabrand parts are pressed out by whoever the bidder of the month is, I just have trouble believing that ALL their parts are made by Moog now. Unless the guy meant all their parts, that day, right at that moment... Guess it doesn't matter if the quality standards still aren't their though. Maybe I will just get the Durabrand, since it's the cheapest and has a lifetime warranty.
