AOD with the low ratio gearset?

Hey guys, quick question…I have two AOD’s sitting on my garage floor. One stock, one supposedly built up. I was told that the built one has the Ford Racing low ratio gearset (the gearset with the 2.80 1st gear). I want to rebuild the trans because it was installed incorrectly, so the clutches are pretty roasted on the inside. Is there a way to check to see if it’s actually equipped with the low ratio gearset? Can I yank the gearset out and see if there are any stampings on it or any other identifying marks? It polly has a 4R70W gearset. I don't have the spec's in front of me but look up gear ratio's for a 4R70W from any vehicle such as a 2000 Crown Vic.

it will have the diode sprag, 2 in drum and likely band and the rear p drum has holes in it
