anyone use ebay parts?

I absolutely buy parts on ebay when they are cheaper. Our pos 4x4 S10 needed a hub assembly/wheel bearing and the cheapest of any parts store was $160. Ebay was $41 new shipped. Chinese made, but at that price who cares, we don't drive it much anyways. Our Aspire needed outer tie rod ends and ball joints when we bought it. Got a kit on ebay with both inner and outer tie rod ends, both ball joints/lower control arms, and sway bar to control arm bushings for $97 new shipped. The same parts at any parts store would have been more than 3 times that. The only time it sucks is if you need something RIGHT NOW and can't wait for it to be shipped.

Also try rockauto.com, they can sometimes have some very good prices on parts. Sometimes you find the same part on ebay cheaper, sometimes you find the same part on rockauto.com cheaper than ebay.

My experience has been about 80% of the time Rockauto is cheaper for a good quality name-brand part (Spicer/Raybestos ball joints and Bosch windshield wiper blades for example).
I did take a chance on a nameless $35 ebay gas filler neck hose though, and the part I received was fairly well-constructed, however it did originate from China. It'll be a time-will-tell thing whether it cracks like the OE one did after 12 years or if it lasts about the same or longer (after ~6 months, so far so good).

I checked out rock auto for the upper control arm assembly.def cheaper than most other places, esp for an oem replacement part.

The wheel bearings are about twice what I paid for my last one,so ill be shopping around for that.
