My W-2s aren't in yet but the wife's refund is already almost what I made this year, so I shouldn't be able to destroy that, especially since we file seperately.

i havent entered my wifes 3 w-2's in yet, but turbotax says i should be getting back 2,974 for my W2 alone so far.

I need to fill out my 1040 or w/e, but I only worked half the year and made a lil over 5 grand but oddly enough it said I only paid in about 220 to federal and 280 to the state...

I can't tell if I'll get it all back or what... I hope I get enough back for gears and some steering linkage... I'll fill it out tomorrow and see.

I should get most back right? Cuz I didn't make much... but I am single and currently claimed as a dependent... and in college if that counts for anything.

I never have to pay back cause i always have them take out 20 bucks extra a check so i make sure not to get shafted... i worked maybe 7 months this past year and got back a little over 1200 bucks... no kids and single and in 3 states with no more than 9 bucks an hour

AMEN brother! I owe back support on 2. Ok, so I was an imperfect pos in the day. I was more interested in pot and drinking than I was in working. I will owe her for another 5 years... Cannot wait to actually SEE a state return. Hope it works out for ya man, 6 more years of child support n I am done like dinner!

We're getting $366.00 Federal and $300.00 State, BUT! We added siding, doors and windows to the house last year and will get $1,500.00 of that back. If you have done those types of repairs last year, you can get a chunk of it back. Our Fed went from $366.00 to $1,866.00, a sizable difference to say the least.

according to my records, they owe me $20,000 ......... I paid over $40,000 in the last 5 years to pay off $10,000 in back support...... they say I still owe $7500......... I wish they would get some real accountants in stead of accounting school rejects ...... I only got 7 years left ...... the sad part ..... I have not been allowed visitation.......... ever .......... I was in the Military therefor I am violent............ I have not seen him since he was 1 year old.
