Looking at getting these. He said they came off an early gen ranger or bronco. Anyone k ow if they would fit my 99 without spacers? They look like a different back spacing than mine. He said they have 215-60-15s on them. Thanks.

Yup, 5-spoke mags. One of the uglier wheels available on the early ones IMO.

I associate them with the 1st gen 2tone Brown Bronco II's

The guy is asking $40 for all and they look clean as can be. I just didn't know if the back spacing would be much different than mine. I currently have two set of wheels but my winter set are old jeep wheels that I'm not too fond of. Any one know what these style rims are called? I can find a few pictures of them but no specific name to the rims. I think they would look better than the black rhino lined jeep wheels.

I have seen them on a lot of sea-green and solid dark blue super cabs.

size & offset should be cast into the back of the wheel. my 15 x 7 factory wheels have 12mm offset.

From what I found these are 15x6 inch rims if the sources are correct. Not sure what the offset is but it doesn't look too far from the rims I have now. I figure if he still has them I'll pick them up. Price is right and they might make the truck look better than the solid black jeep wheels.

They're thinner than standard wheels, 15x6 is correct I believe.

Anyone know if the center bore would fit on my 1999? they look kind of slim in the center and I know my front hubs stick out a little.

91stranger:

They should fit, but you may need to pull the center caps. The caps would be removed when installed on the front of earlier gen 4wd's locking hubs, later gen Rangers have the same center as 4wd in earlier.

For reference - Gen 1,2 rangers - 2½" center, Gen 3 ~2-11/16", a quick check with tape measure will tell you if they'd fit or not.

I have a set back at the parents house, but it might be a good 2 weeks before I get back there to measure.

They'll fit.

I briefly had a set on my 87 4x4, but took them off same day I put them on because my lugs didn't seat right with them.

Usually the issue is putting newer wheels on an older 4x4 because the hubs don't fit the center hole.

Well the guy sold them before I could get these (damn work). So oh well. he was honest and said he wouldn't hold them for me which I don't blame him with all the crap I have dealt with from craiglister's. Seems like people would rather lie than just say "I'm not interested anymore" I swear I have had a dozen times when people are supposed to show and then no call no show and a day later they say so and so was in the hospital and blah blah blah.
