anyone know these engine dimensions?

Google has not been helpful.. Anyone happen to know how long the motors on the list are? From the back of the block to the water pump pully? Mabey some of you have one of these motors at your disposal and could measure one up. I'll get the Lima length myself tomorow and add it to the list.

1: 2.0/2.3/2.5 Lima I4 - 25 inches

My 302 with the long water pump (say late 80's Crown Vic) is about 29-3/8" to the nubbin on the end of the water pump. The water pump pulley sits behind that.

There are a couple different water pump setups out there for at least the 302 so there won't be "this is how long a 302 is" measurement. I am not really that familiar with the other engines to know if they vary too.

There is a '76 400 on a stand at work, I can try to remember to measure it if you want.

Not really, there are some with the short front end dress and they are shorter.
