I am pretty sure my truck is bent even though it drives straight. Bushings off yeah maybe but i still think the truck is bent. Wondering if anyone on here has experience with getting there truck unbent. I got turned down already by a place near me to even check my frame. So cherry automotive is out. Anyone ever do this to fix there truck? And i understand that its expensive and all that. So please don't try to shut me down. I want to save my truck no matter the cost at this point. Any reccomendations would be great thanks guys. I haven't even determined if the frame is bent but im working on that. I have had 2 opinions on the truck and they say not its not bent. But i disagree with them. I have already posted about this subject but i wanted to stay specific to were do i go to get the frame pulled.

So now you have three separate posts about the same issue... and in the wrong forum.

I understand your frustration... but making multiple posts about the same issue WILL NOT get you any further with this.

Also... why did you go a delete pictures from your second post when we questioned body lift spacers being a possible cause for your concern?

You've been to two separate body shops and they both tell you the frame is OK... yet you insist on saying they're wrong.

It just seems you want the frame to be bent even though both body shops told you it was an install problem with the bed and/or body mounts...

I'm gonna move this post too... but please don't start another thread with the same damn issue. It doesn't help you or anyone else that may try searching a similar issue.

I once had a Nissan 720 pick-up. I hit a telephone pole dead nuts center with the PS of the frame. Frame was bent 1/4 - 3/8" of center. The truck drove fine, until I shifted gears. I could feel a little wobble that wasnt there before.

IF 2 different body shops have told you it fine, it's fine. They would be glad to take your money if they have the equipment to straighten your frame.

Sorry i posted to many times but im a little in over my head with this truck as it would seem. And now i got a radiator leak lol i just bought this truck and im overspending on it thus far. I want to get started on the restoration or do a lift kit. But things keep going wrong. I had plans for this truck but things are not going very well so far. But i already ordered another radiator. At least its not dropping oil. I got the exhaust leak fixed in the manifold so now the truck sounds normal. I would also like to let you know that i have mental health problems and i take medication so i am a little off sometimes.
Thanks for your reply

You may be right that the frame isn't bent but im skeptical still i need that piece of mind. I am going to another collision center next week and im going to have them take a look and either straighten the frame or level the body of my truck out properly with shims washers or whatever they need to do New body mounts etc... I got to get the new radiator in first but i won't have that till at least Thursday or Friday. Assuming everything fits properly I should have it in by the weekend.

we enjoy working on Rangers, as such we are all "a little off" :icon_thumby: many of us are ( rightly) accused of being much worse.

in all seriousness, a factory service manual is a good investment
they have all the frame dimensions and you will be surprised what can be accomplished with a tape measure, string, and a carpenters level.

Before I got to this last post I was getting ready to say the same thing and it's good advice : you can figure out if things are square wth a tape measure. Just break everything down into triangles and start taking measurements. Lay out a rectangle that should be symmetrical, measure the sides, then measure the diagonals.
If it makes you feel better to pay someone to check it for you, so be it, but you can also treat it as a free education.

just for fun, this is what happens when you get carried away with attempting to get the frame alignment perfect. :icon_rofl:
