Wondering if anyone else here uses Tungsten Disulfide (ws2) mixed in with their trans fluid in their manual transmission?
I've used it in my older 92 Ranger for several years (reached over 500k miles), in my motorcycle final drive fluid, and just about anything that has a gear box. I mix it in with grease too. The particle size is .4 micron for the 1 pound I purchased years ago, and I still have a decent amount left.
My old 92 finally would go no more, so this past week I've moved onto a 2006 Ranger with manual trans. Just did a full tune up and fluids change out.
When I did the manual trans, I also mixed in my ws2 powder. With new fluid and ws2, it seems to shift a little better.
Anyone else?
