Anyone have experience with this sub?

I'm thinking this will fit nicely behind my seats in my reg cab ranger. I havent heard much about soundstream.

if i remember correctly, which means you should wait for someone who knows for sure or who has dealt with them, they aren't the best but they are like decent low line equipment...

250 for a single twelve in a box seems a little steep to me... but i can't find the driver anywhere online without it being loaded to compare to see how much they are ripping you off with a fancy box for

If you're going to get something like that then go on ebay and buy a kicker cvt shallow sub already in a truck box for $150 (10"). You'll be getting at least double the bass from the kicker too.

Only problem is the truck boxes I looked at are too big to fit behind the seats and console. I have bucket seats and the center console.

I have the same type of seats and I'm planning on putting one of those back there. The measurements are legit. Unless you're like 6'5" then it wont fit but I'm 5'11" so I sit pretty close.

Yeah, I am 5'11" as well, so I think we would be ok. I measured it and it will be pretty close at the top since it is 14.5" tall.

It is much less expensive, but I read that Power Acoustik owns Sound Stream, so I am not sure of the difference. Both boxes are identical in dimensions.

Any thoughts on the power acoustik?

I've never had any experience with power acoustic... But hey, someone's gotta test it. I know in my truck I don't have that much width, or length or whatever the 30" side is called.

I guess I will be the guinea pig! I just bought that power acoustik and a 500w Alpine amp.

Yeah, its about 31" between both of my rear speakers, so this thing will fit right in between them. I am going to have to remove my jack and handles, but thats no big deal. I am going to try to put that under the passenger seat.

I have a friend that swears by Soundstream. His entire system is compromised of their amps, speakers, and subwoofers. But he has an Eclipse(?) head unit.

its not bad stuff. ive owned a few subs and they were decent for the money.. i currently have a tarantula amp by them and its great!
