Anyone ever had this kind of luck with 4 wheel parts? (rant)

I ordered a set of tires from these guys on November 25th, after about a week of no ship I called them wondering what was going on with my order. Called customer service, transferred to sales, back to customer service, still had no answer. Called customer service back the next day, said they would ship that day or the next, this happened 3 more times, I called today and asked to speak to a manager, give them my invoice number and they put me on hold for 20 minutes. Finally comes back on the line and gives me a number to call to speak with a supervisor. I call this number and the guy is on the phone, (according to the automated message) so I leave a message. I called back about 15 minutes later and the automated message said he was at lunch, called back 2 hours after that and still at lunch, All I want to know is my projected ship date, and it seems I keep getting the runaround from these guys. Pretty dissatisfied with the help I have gotten so far.

I had a similar situation from them too, not so much the runaround, but last year when I ordered a new set of gears from 4 wheel parts, it took almost a month and a half for the parts to come in. I missed a memorial day wheelin trip which I had ordered a month in advance, and needless to say, I was not a happy customer. Haven't been there since, I order stuff online from other places now.

I have had the same problem with them. I ordered some lights from them a few years ago and about a week later they were charging me an extra 100 dollars in shipping because I was in alaska and they HAD to ship next day air. Which still only should have been 60 bucks tops. 2 weeks I try calling them and then they called me and said that I need to pay the shipping... I let em have it... They even refused to ship regular mail or anything... Shipping to my aunts house however was only like 10 bucks... Pissed me off. Good prices but i will never buy from them again.

TRS Fab and OffRoad is awesome though!

I've never had a problem with them. Although, there is a 4WP store a couple of miles from my house and I always have the part number needed for the sales guy at the counter (otherwise it takes a long time for them to look it up).

I've only ever ordered 1 item from an online dealer and that was my cold air intake for my 2.3L from Kurtz Kustomz. Got exactly what I wanted and it got to my house earlier than it was supposed to. Friggin awesomesauce!!

Aside from that...I support my local customs dealer. He gets me my parts at his cost plus 10% and I usually have the parts in-hand within a week. Can't argue with that.

I don't really trust online dealers.

+1 for TRS Fab. I tried to save around $60 going with someone else once on gears. I got the wrong gears after the 2 months of shipping time. Lesson learned, I buy from Jim if he has it.

Mine was Performance Jeep or something like that.

I've ordered quite a bit of stuff online, I have had very good luck with all of them up until now. I ordered these tires when I did because they were offering free shipping on them and the price wasn't all that bad either. I'm thinking about getting my money credited back to me and going elsewhere if these things don't ship by the middle of next week.

I know this thread is a little old but oh well, I'll add my input, I ordered my 33" KM1s from them and got them in a little over a week for a great price, no problems at all, weird...
