Curious as to whether anyone has done an Oil Filter relocation on a modern Ranger?

That would be something I would avoid if possible on any vehicle. More places for failures and leaks. Unless you can't fit it any other way. Not sure how the warranty guys would look at that also.

If your issue is access to the filter, I replaced the plastic screws with neodyne magnets from Amazon. I sandwiched the flap between three pairs with a dab of Gorilla Glue and just peel it off to get to the filter.

Aren't they all modern?

No, the 2000-2011 are not in my mind.....

Interesting that your dates start with 2000. So, perhaps my 93 IS modern.

I would have to look at the underside of the engine bay again. I'm not even sure there would be room to relocate the oil filter with all the stuff jammed in there because of the turbo.

Turbos on the other side, I *believe* I've seen pictures of a neatly done relocation or two on these.. but my memory is a bit foggy these days.
