Anyone besides me watch "The Walking Dead" on AMC?

I can't wait till the 16th when season 2 of The Walking Dead comes on AMC. For a made for TV series the production quality of this series completely blows me away. Better than most movies in the genre. I also never expected them to show that amount of gore on regular TV. Anyone else like this series?

It was a great show! It only seems like itll get bigger since they used that contest to be zombies, i bet there are MASSIVE mobs of undead this year. The first season was suprisingly awesome for a new show, now they have way more people and tons more money to work with.

I just Googled and it looks like there will be 13 new episodes this season. I will have my DVD recorder set and ready to go. Pretty much the only "new" show on tv that I really look forward to seeing.

Watched the first season last night. Stayed up till 4:30am ha ha but I'm ready for the new ones now!!

It's not as much a favorite of mine as "Breaking Bad".

After the first few episodes it was more fun to "Mystery Science theater" the show because of the writing inconsistancies.

The problem to me is that "Zombies" have rules.

How does zombie-ism spread? In one show the hillbilly shoots a zombie with his crossbow, recovers the bolt (arrow) for his crossbow then shoots a one of the gan-bangers in the ass with it...

Now in a NORMAL Zombie movie , that LAtion kid would have himself become a zombie.

They seem to have no care about back splatter from smashing zombies...

They worry about "looting" for survival when they are part of a remaining 1/100th of 1%
of survivors.

They are short of weapons and ammo... In Georgia?
Obviously the writers have a california mindset on guns

I was relieved when the director/producer FIRED all the writers because of consistancy errors.

I'm hopeful the new writers will do a better job

This one is believable. When the zombie apocalypse started, there was more than likely a run on guns/ammo.

I would imagine that all of the stores, in the immediate area, probably ran out long before this story begins.

90 minutes and not a lot happened.

I agree on the gun thing and the splatter comment. The blonde chick stabs a zombie with screwdriver and gets blood everywhere, then the black dude cuts himself and hides under a zombie. Besides that in like the third episode they make a huge point that the zombies can smell the living, how did they just walk by without smelling all those sweaty people under the cars? And also why worry so much about fixing the dumb rv? Walk to the end of the pile up of cars and grab some new ones.... They have gas and most likely keys if people were trying to leave...

Ok rant done.
