Anyone besides me watch "The Walking Dead" on AMC?

90 minutes and not a lot happened.

I agree on the gun thing and the splatter comment. The blonde chick stabs a zombie with screwdriver and gets blood everywhere, then the black dude cuts himself and hides under a zombie. Besides that in like the third episode they make a huge point that the zombies can smell the living, how did they just walk by without smelling all those sweaty people under the cars? And also why worry so much about fixing the dumb rv? Walk to the end of the pile up of cars and grab some new ones.... They have gas and most likely keys if people were trying to leave...

Ok rant done.

yeah, i wasnt that impressed last night. not as good as any of the episodes from last season. hopefully they'll improve.

I agree with previous comments. Nothing happened! Also, by now I really think they should have fully auto weapons and can maul down a horde. Lighting up a horde of zombies is the most popular course of action with every single video game/movie of this generation, and decapitations . It doesn't have to he graphic, but they have to stop being so scared and get on top of these lowlife undead. They became so popular after the first season, they should have broke open the season with a blaze of copper jacketed lead and explosions. They were at a military base and I spotted TANKS in multiple locations. Next episode better be mass execution! None of this LIFETIME CHANNEL BULL doodoo!!!!

someone posted about the humvees earlier... you know how many of those suckers were around when they were just driving all over the town? no instead they kept the POS rv, a grand cherokee and a single cab f-150... WTF? granted diesel would be harder to scavenge... also at the CDC all those dead soldiers and no one thought to pick up a few AR's and as much ammo as possible? its also funny to me that at times they just chill in random places for long periods of time and no zombies but yet sometimes they are all over the place.

at this point they are at like 2 months after the outbreak, do zombies starve? i mean they are dead technically so why are they so damn hungry? ha ha i'll stop before i get called out that zombies aren't real ha ha the only way i see the mass being turned into zombies are the ones like on "i am legend" where they just regress and become a primitive species

and why havent they found some way to suppress their weapons? something as simple as a coke bottle duct taped to the barrel would be better than nothing. i may or may not have made one out of PVC for my .22 one time, took 2 hours and it worked great, maybe.

Diesel "harder to scavenge"? Ok you've got a zombie apocalypse on your hands, which would you ratgher do drain an average half a tank (about seven gallons) out of four or five different compact cars to fill your F-150's tanks OR find a semi stopped in a traffic jam and drain 90-ish gallons in one wack?

about the hummers, Military vehicles generally DO NOT have keys
but Hummers get LOUSY mileage (typically about 7mpg)

But yeah, I'd be the first to scavenge a couple of SAW or M60 or even a Ma-Duce
off of a military vehicle, but the writing still shows a california mindset....
the false idea that guns are relatively rare...

every one of those military vehicles probably has several ammo cans of ammo that the
former occupants didn't get to use before being overrun...

And it's certain the zombies didn't take it
(or the MRE's, medical supplies or other stuff that are equally certain to be around...)

they have several surburban/city folk in the show and one real "Hillbilly"
who doesn't seem terribly bright...

what they need is someone who is more of an effective, thinking scavenger.
An intelligent oppertunist.

Shit, I could write that part without even thinking terribly hard....

I could play the part by just being "me"
