been looking at changing my shift boot to something more towards the rat rod theme I am going for on my ranger..... will this work with the taper and neckdown near the floor on the shifter??? I know it will need some kind of modification to work and was wondering if anybody had tried it

I haven't but am looking to find something with a larger base then the stock boot , after installing my body lift I need to readjust the position of the boot and to be in the right spot , the cut out carpet is now exposed.
I need to get something like the one shown here. :icon_thumby:

I used a piece of aluminum diamond plate with 2 openings for the shifters. Then just screwed it to the floor. My custom has 3" body lift. It took a bit of trimming on the floor for both shifters to have full throw.
