Am in the middle of building a street 3.0 motor and i dont know if i would gain more hp from a (tom marano) cam or 1:8 roller rockers?. if i go with a aftermarket cam can i use stock pushrods ans lifters?

anybody know much of this?

According to Tom, the 1.8 roller's are kind of a substitute for a cam. They're easier to install, give similar power gains, and reduce friction in the valvetrain, but are also more expensive than a cam. You shouldn't have to use different pushrods with the roller rockers. The one thing you get with a new cam that the roller rockers can't offer, (besides lower cost) is variety. There are countless cam grinds that can be tailored to your needs. You may even be able to do both rockers and a cam if you're interested, but be careful. To much lift can cause the valves to contact the pistons, unless you do machine work on the pistons themselves.

it's a flex fuel, will i have any issues with the pcm with a cam?

The cam, along with the rest of your mods would definitley require a retune. As long as your tuner can account for your cam specs, it shouldn't be a problem, but you need to have open discussion with your tuner to see what can and cannot be done.
