My S10 is having issues with the brakes, whenever you touch the pedal it pops the fuse. The fuse is only used for the three brake lights.

Problem is, they use a different style frame from Rangers where it's enclosed, can't get to most of the wiring to troubleshoot.

Anyone have any tips on how I can trace it/find the short?

Start with checking the bulbs and sockets themselves. Remove the bulbs and try it again. Keep removing/unplugging things as you work your way forwards towards the brake pedal switch.

Or you could get yourself a small circuit breaker

remove the fuse and wire in a bulb. It will illuminate when the short occurs and allow you to poke around without changing fuses every few minutes.

Well this sucks.

Yesterday I was popping fuses like there was no tomorrow, now I can't even get one to blow.
