I just purchased the Performance Accessories 883 3'' Body Lift. I will be installing it in a week or two. I am just wondering if you guys have any precautions or suggestions when installing a body lift. Also how do you think it will look on 28'' A/T tires? Because my original tires still have another 6 months left. When I buy new tires, I will go with 31x10.50x15. There are pics of my truck in the link in my signature. Thanks for your advise.

Spray your bolts everyday with PB Blaster or something like it. Read the instructions and make sure you understand them. Body lifts aren't very hard, a long as you have the tools and the bolts come out.

i think itll look dinky. if you're set on burning your tires you have now, wait till you're ready to buy 31's and slap the body lift on.

edit: i thought you were running stock tires and wheels. from your pic i see you have aftermarket wheels and larger tires. it may look alright for the time being.

Thanx mann. I would wait, but I have been wanting to lift my truck for the longest time now. So I am pretty anxious to get that body lift on my truck when it arrives. Will you be able to notice a 3'' BL?

what do you mean by "notice"?

will anyone be able to tell your truck is higher than stock??!! sure, it'll be noticeable.

did you order the gap guards? show us some pics when the lift is done.

Yea, I just wanted to know if people could tell that it is higher than stock.
I will post some pics when I get done with the install. Thanks for all the advice.

I had to use a hot wrench on most of the bolts when i did the 3in body lift on my B2. I would say go ahead and put on a new set of body bushings on when you do it too odds are they are wore out. Also be careful when you go back to tighten the bolts all back up that you do it slowly and move around the truck, it may not be as big of a deal on a ranger but on my b2 it messed my door jams up so the doors dont line up like they are supposed to.
here a pic of my with stock 28in tires and a 3in body lift.
