well guys i have a 96 formula 3 600 triple that i just recently grenaded the primary clutch on it.. i picked up a new clutch for it.. it came of a 98 mxz670.. my pop thinks i should just swap the clutch on an be done with it but i dont think its set up for the formula3. the spring that was in my sled was black. ive been reading about it an it calls for a purple spring i believe.. now the new clutch has a blue spring. ive also been told that i need to set up the ramps again? what do you guys think i should do?

Which clutch, primary or secondary? either way you need to set it up for your machine. I would suggest going to dootalk.com and asking around there. those guys definitely know what to do. You should only need to change the weights (ramps) and the spring to the ones for your machine and it should be good to go.

By the way... I used to live in the U.P. and I ride a 97 Yamaha V Max SX with the 700 triple... nothing beats the sound of a triple cylinder 2 stroke!

haha ya man deff.. ive been over their havent had any luck yet.. ya the sound of a triple rocks.. my pop has a twin stock pips its quite.. the triple with pipes sounds SWEET!! expecially on hard pack..

What's "hard pack" ?

You might check the snowest forums. Whatever you do, just bring lots of snow.

He means hard packed snow. As in the opposite of powder.
