Is any one running the 12in explorer sport trac front rotor and daul piston caliper. I am in the process of this swap. Right now and was just curious if any one else has them

These are going on my 94. With 96 spindles. I started moking them up yesterday

Made the brackets up. To mount the caliper with the new rotors.

Have you ran them.yet. how do they feel

That looks like I need to do the same. Can you get a pic of the backside so I can see how your adapter fits?
Tho I'm sure that once I get in there I can figure it out.

There is some one who sells a kit. Not sure if he is on here.

Ah, yes, I remember now. I think teddyzee has a thread with a link to that someone. I got all excited until I remembered I'm running 4x4. Dohp!

Yeah ran them for about 1200km yet. They feel normal lol never really heavily tested them out yet... On normal traffic they seem to brake less than my normal cheap pads and stock rotors I have on my other truck, but I think it's normal and that carbon pads are braking more when they're getting hot than usual daily driven cars have.

I don't know about here on TRS but there are quite a few people on RPS running this set-up. I don't know if it's what Teddyzee had posted a link to, there's a 12" brake kit and a 13" brake conversion made by members over there, he could have posted to either. The 12" kit is made and sold by Gumby over there, doubt that he has any available right now though.

The people I've heard from with the 12" sport track set-up really like it, same goes for the 13" but it's more work and a lot more expensive. Personally I'll be running this kit on my 86 when it goes back together with the V8 swap. I'll also be getting the 13" brake kit when they get made (hopefully this year), and will probably go to it once I have to do brakes again.

I thought that was his name. But wasn't 100 percent positive. I haven't put them in the truck yet it was cold this weekend. So I guess it's worth the swap. But then again im only into the project for 200 bucks.

Yes gumby sells them. I don't think he has any other for sale right now, but just ask him and whenever a few people want some he makes them.
