My credo
Clean your room before you criticise the world.
I have word the production of the ranger may return to the states in MI check the link

http://www.ford-trucks.com/articles/the-ford-ranger-is-back-maybe/

Alot of people say never again I'm uncertain either way but if there is going to be a new ranger in the states I think the ranger station needs to be the first to give a test and review so Jim oaks if your reading this that would be awesome:headbang:

Been news for a while, but figure it will be 5 years or so before anyone will buy as they will be new and have growing pains after the 2-3 years that it will take for them to begin production. Doesn't do anyone any good near future.

NEVER going to happen. !!!!!

Ford wants to sell F150's

^^^What he said. Does anyone use the Search features on here anymore?

Gahhhhhhhhhhhh. Gosh..........lol

Hey I never said it was true just puttin the word out bout the hear say

I've seen some reports about it on some business sites which I would give a little more legitimacy too but who knows. I think it depends on the sales of the new Colorado and if ford decides they want a piece of the pie. They are going to have to work on the gas mileage I think. If its not much different than the 150's I don't think it will sell that great.

that being said I'd like to see it.

I kinda agree with another poster who said they need to do a clean slate design like the Courier of old... Super lightweight, simple, and cheap.

I'm inclined to believe there is still a big market for midsize/compact pickups and ford mainly withdrew the ranger because it stagnated for the last decade it was available. I can't for the life of me understand why it was more or less the same truck for ten years while the competition got better.

I personally love the fact that it generally stayed the same for the if it ant broke don't fix it point of view it was just a regular old vehicle 5spd super simple cheap to build lo g lasting cheap to repair truck that's why I drive em there awesome and yeah I would like to see the courier style come back more steel less plastic than today's trucks full frame 5spd still no GPS nothin just a stripper model available at least

Your signature is driving me to drink...:icon_rofl:

I would like to see this...I remember posting this a few years ago and that is if/when they bring them back I could wait ten or fifteen years to buy a used one...

Well, maybe not so much time left on the old clock...unless I manage to live longer than my parents...but I'm contaminated in the gene pool so probably not something to count on...

Might as well start drinking again so that when they cremate me it will take a few days for the fire to burn out...

So...I will have a Bugweiser...that's the new German beer they are putting out to hide the emission fiasco that's about to bankrupt the auto industry and turn the Euro into Nero...
