Hello, I have been using this site for info for a while I figure I should Make an account and join the fun!
I own a 2001 Ford Ranger 4x4 with only 98,000 on it.
I bought it in march for 5,000.
New tires, A remote starter came with it.
I like working on it there is a ton of information about these trucks, and easy to find parts compared to Imports and such.
I have done a bunch of work to the truck since I bought it.
K&N Filter ( Filter only),CAI is stupid...
Reese hitch, Dual exhaust, New Plugs and (Blue) wires, New brakes, New U-joint.
I plan to install a Ford Racing Trac-Lok system in the Rear Diff. I will probably take some pictures and stuff so I might make a write up on it.
For me I don't see enough Off-Road to spend money on a Lock-Right locker.
the open diff is horrible on snow and Rain so The trac-Lok should be good for those conditions.
My Trans AM has a similar Clutch based Posi and it keeps both wheels turning in snow and rain I know for a fact.
anyway I like this site and hope to contribute something to the table, I Have a whole list of stuff to do to my truck and I am a bit of a perfectionist about how stuff is done so I'll post my upgrades to see what people think as there completed. Have a good day
