Any members in the PA or surrounding states?

Moot point on the FB thing. The linked group's last post was in 2016.

LOL, I don't usually get caught in the old thread thing, but sometimes....

Has any group activity ever been initiated? I'm in No. New Jersey and would love to go to a "county park picnic" or some such.

Cheers

@Kira Do you like Goats and Pot Bellied Pigs?

I'm asking for a friend...

Sorry, The parks are closed.

Funny you should ask. Goats are cool, friendly animals.
The cutest thing is to see the kids when they climb on children's backs in petting zoos.

I was doing rear brakes in my teeny garage (rented) in a Greek neighborhood on Orthodox Easter. All the Greek people were celebrating/cooking/partying.
The families' children would toddle over and look at me working so I set a plank on 2 cinder blocks and invited them to sit and watch. Here and there a parent would come over to see everything was OK. When I finished one of the dads handed me a large forkful of meat from a goat they were cooking over wood.
OMG, it stands as the best hunk of meat I've ever had.

Pot Bellied Pigs...specifically? Besides resembling one, I don't think I could differentiate pig species.
They all come out of the smoker pretty much the same, no?

LOL... I tend to agree with the smoker and pig thing... I've been told these pot bellied swine are pets though. I say they all look like bacon...

I've ate goat before... pretty tasty. Again though.... some folks think they're pets not table fare. Go figure!

I’ve been told that you don’t eat pot bellied pigs. I don’t know why?

Just seen this thread. I’m from NW PA. Waterford area and no I’ve never eaten pot bellied pig that I know of 🐷

I’m looking for a respectable shop in my area that can do regearing. Thanks

I just now saw Naddanme's post re regearing. I assume this is differential regearing.

I'd ask at clean and competent looking service stations. I've watched differential rebuilding videos and it seems a lot of assembly-torquing-contact verification-retorquing involved. I think tedious jobs are the first ones refused by "regular garages".
Ask in person at an engine rebuilder too.

Thanks I started looking into transmission shops because I thought they’d be my best bet. But I can’t even find a reliable one of those around here. But I’m in no hurry.

It's a bit of a hike for you but back in the day when Jim lived in Ohio he swore by Steinbinder's in Negley, OH for gears.
